If you have made the decision to remodel your bathroom then it is now time to decide what changes you want to make and what sort of look you want to achieve. These are things that should be decided on before you begin so that you know what supplies and accents you may need.

The most important aspect of the bathroom is the lighting. You will want your bathroom to have plenty of light especially around the sink and mirror area.

Next are the colors. Do you want bright and vibrant colors or pastel and low tone colors? You should never choose dark or dull colors as this often makes the room look smaller and less inviting.

If you have decided on a solid color scheme for the walls then you may choose to simply use paint. However if you prefer a pattern including different colors wallpaper would be the more logical choice. There are hundreds of wallpaper choices available so look around until you find one that you really like. There is nothing worse than getting the job done only to discover you don’t like the way it looks.

Last but not least are the floors. Tile is the most obvious choice in bathroom flooring because of how easy it is to keep clean and dry. Choose a color or pattern that accents the rest of the room.
